QotD: It's Too Late to Apologize
Has anyone ever done something so horrible to you that "I'm sorry" couldn't fix it?
No, but almost! If I intend on keeping my sanity, I have to forgive, 'cuz that's the way God wants it. I guess it makes sense to forgive, so my mind isn't so jumbled with how I'm gonna get my revenge. Too counterproductive, I think. Yeah, forgiveness is the way to go....

Hey Connie
Awesome Graphics on your Blog page!
I can say I never have been hurt so bad that sorry wouldn't fix it. I've heard it preached many times that forgiveness is for us more then for the offender. Like you say, we will go insane if we don't forgive by the anger and resentment that consumes us. Even if the person who hurt us doesn't repent we need to forgive them or we will be worse off then the ofender is. Easy to say harder to do, but with God living in us we can do anything. Do you think that was the hardest thing God ever had to do, to forgive his enemies?
Is holding small grudges healthy? :(

(chuckling) Trev, I love reading your posts; their so uplifting!
You're so right about that! Sounds so simple, doesn't it? Just forgive them. I can only speak for myself, but I can only do it with the Lord living in me. I take a lot from some people, but once someone crosses that line (couldn't tell you which line that is), it becomes so much harder to forgive offenses, ya know? Only through the Lord. But overall, I'm pretty resiliant.
As for you question about grudges, all I can say is big weeds often start from seeds!

Big weeds from small seeds, ha indeed!
Good one!
